Home / House washing
Soft wash house cleaning for vinyl, brick and stucco across the Northwest Suburbs. Kills the algae rather than pushing it around.
Those green and black streaks on the north side of your house are algae and mildew. They grow back unless something kills them.
This is where most house washing goes wrong. High pressure will blast the surface layer off and the house looks clean for a few weeks, then the streaks come back darker. It also forces water up behind the siding, into the sheathing, which is a considerably more expensive problem than the one you started with.
We soft wash instead. Low pressure, roughly what a garden hose puts out, with a detergent that kills the growth at the root. It takes longer than blasting it, and it is the reason the result lasts a season rather than a month.
Vinyl, brick, stucco and fiber cement each need different handling, and we set up for whichever you have before we start. Windows, doors and light fixtures get checked and rinsed down at the end so you aren't left with detergent residue on the glass.
Gutters can be brightened on the same visit if you want the black tiger stripes gone too. Ask when you book.
